I’d like to understand whether the existing DocumentCategory codes are of relevance/use to CSO publishers. Specifically, the codes that begin with A (applicable to Activities) : http://iatistandard.org/201/codelists/DocumentCategory/
Context - I’ve been working with these documents : http://www.plan-uk.org/what-we-do/open-info-about-our-projects/africa/ - there is no direct mention of Logframe, Final Report and Proposal in the A-type categories, for example - meaning some interpretation is needed.
Has anyone made a mapping?
Should clarification text be created/added to the existing codes?
Is there a pressing need for new codes?
Whilst I have posted this in the CSO category, this might be applicable to other users. @johnadams might have ideas…
