We are looking at conducting a short study into the user needs and use-cases of aid data in Nepal. We are seeking a consultant who has experience in liaising and working with the Nepal government and civil society; some knowledge of aid data; experience in conducting key informant interviews and analysis; and who has strong verbal and written communication skills (in English and Nepali). The contract would be for up to 20 days of work between now and the beginning of December – starting as soon as possible.
The role of the consultant would be to scope the aid data landscape in Nepal; identify key individuals in government/donors/civil society/media to interview; set up/conduct/document interviews; develop profiles of aid data users & their needs; and draft a 20-page report on the findings. Guidance would be provided throughout this process and they would work closely with my colleagues at Development Initiatives and The Asia Foundation.
