This is a topic area to discuss possible synergies between IATI data infrastructure and blockchain technologies.
@ODIHQ have a Friday lunchtime discussion coming up for folks in London (free!): http://opendata.institute/lunchtime-lectures/friday-lunchtime-lecture-data-infrastructure-technology-are-blockchains-the-answer
Also, some useful reading:

All interesting stuff, and great to have a shared place to discuss this emerging technology. Particularly good to read James Smith’s blog on the implications and immutability issues.
Were you able to make the ODI session that you mentioned? If so, would be interesting to hear any notable outcomes…
I write some bits that might be of relevance here: http://www.timdavies.org.uk/2016/01/15/following-the-money-preliminary-remarks-on-iati-traceability/
In case anyone’s interested, I’m helping a nonprofit building a new crowdfunding platform collecting micro-donations for aid organizations involved in crisis response (OneRelief) experiment with using a blockchain ledger behind the scenes to communicate with organizations via exchanging simulated IATI data.
